PhD | Founder, Powerx2 | Clinician & Scientist | Degrees in Psychology & Neuroscience | Academic Advisor, academyEX | Research Experience Across Europe & NZ
Sylvia Hach is a clinician, scientist, and founder who has spent her career returning to the same essential question: what does the evidence actually say, and how do you make it genuinely usable for real people in real situations? That question has driven her across psychology and neuroscience, through research in Europe and New Zealand, and into practice as the founder of Powerx2, a healthcare practice working at the intersection of body and brain health.
Her contributions to the scientific literature across physical and mental health reflect both the breadth and the rigour she brings to her work. She is not a generalist by inclination but by necessity: the questions she cares about, about what actually supports human flourishing, don't fit neatly inside a single discipline.
As an Academic Advisor at academyEX, she ensures that every Master's candidate builds their research on a foundation that is solid enough to hold up when tested. She is the person who asks the rigorous question early, before it becomes the expensive problem later.
