Kriv Naicker has spent 25 years at the leading edge of technology strategy, moving from global telco consulting with Ovum across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, to running the regional playbook for Huawei across New Zealand. That trajectory, from global strategy to implementation in a specific market, gives him an understanding of how technology adoption actually works that is rare among people who have only done one or the other.

He founded the NZ Internet of Things Alliance to build the ecosystem for connected technology in New Zealand, and Synaptec NZ to help boards and leaders navigate the exponential technologies, AI, IoT, 5G, drones, that are rewriting every industry. His BTech (Hons) in Industrial Mathematics means the quantitative dimension of technology strategy is instinctive rather than learned.
